The black suit Spider-Man is one of my favorite versions of the web-swinging hero from Queens. I find it thematically fascinating how the symbiote challenges him by demonstrating the repercussions of having unfettered super powers. It’s a shame the parasitic upgrade causes uncontrollable aggression. It is a hard lesson in humility for poor Peter Parker.
