Raising Dragons Graphic Novel | Update 2

Without a doubt, I have been very busy this past month. One of the exciting new projects that I am blessed to be a part of is the Raising Dragons Graphic Novel. Since my last update, I have finished all of the concept art for the heroes of the story. This includes Billy, Bonnie, Walter, Jared, Marylin, Carl, Catherine, and Mr. Hamilton.

As a gift to the fans on Bryan Davis' Facebook Page, my wife gave me the idea to create an image with all of the characters lined up.During the process, we decided to make the image into a desktop wallpaper size, like so.

I ask for your continued patience as I am steadily working on this project, day by day. It's a lot of work for a single illustrator. Luckily for me, I have help. The script has been approved of by Bryan Davis himself, so we're good to go with the adaptation. It's going to be a tight squeeze, fitting the entire book into a 150 page graphic novel. But it can be done!

As of now, I am in the process of thumb-nailing the panels. I am drawing the entire book, page by page, panel by panel, in a rough pencil draft that will serve as a foundation and reference when I actually draw the pages in full size format. It will be a great way to start the new year!

That reminds me...

CHRISTMAS is almost here and I want to personally wish you and your loved ones a very special Holiday. As for me and my family, we are expecting the birth of our third child any day now. Her name will be Korra Grace, and she's due on December 26th...the day after Christmas.

To celebrate the festivities, I present you with an illustrated Christmas Story that I made for my work at BatteryStuff.com. It was very enjoyable making it, and I hope you enjoy watching it, too. Just to let you know, I am the 'techie' who can't figure out how to turn on the POWER. There's a little truth to the story :)

2012 has been a great year for me and my family. I am totally excited for what I will be doing in 2013. A large portion of my efforts will be to continue working on the Raising Dragons Graphic Novel. I appreciate all of the fans  support and best wishes. Thank you all very much.
