Shiloh Silveira commissioned me to use photo manipulation and turn her into a heroic vigilante, akin to the Green Arrow from DC Comics. She did her best to dress the part, but clearly the colors and background were in need of alteration to make her hero costume believable. Using stock images for the city, bow, and quiver, I was able to turn her into the hero she already is on the inside.
Recently I was contacted by someone regarding an illustration commission. Elizabeth Hornberger is an aspiring writer and she is currently working on a fantasy series, a trilogy featuring two protagonists who have feathered wings on their back. She asked if I would draw her characters and I agreed.

Beelzebed is a children's story featuring Walter Foley from the Dragons in our Midst book series by Fantasy author, Bryan Davis. The book is a bedtime story in which Walter battles with bed time itself. It's a very cleaver and silly story that kids and adults will enjoy. It makes a great book to add to your child's collection.
It's been exactly one month now sine the goal for this project was met. The first two weeks were dedicated to the charging and transferring of the funds from backers to me and the last two weeks were dedicated to purchasing all of the equipment that I need. Thanks to you and everybody else who pledged for this graphic novel, I have now entered the second phase of this project... the pencil drawing phase.
I want to take this time to showcase another artist. I've showcased other talented ladies before, like the others this next artist has a lot of passion in drawing. Her avatar is Iceglow Activatr. She shared with me that her last count was a total of 565 free hand drawings.
For the next 30 days or so (until May 23rd, 2013), I will be holding a kickstarter project campaign for this book. What does that mean? Kickstarter is a venue for crowd funding. It means, that people are given the opportunity to financially support projects, and as a token of gratitude, they can earn really unique rewards that are not offered anywhere else.
2013 came and already it's been going by in a blur. I'm sure before I know it summer of 2014 is going to be here, and the Raising Dragons Graphic Novel will be finished. I am looking forward to that. I am just as anxious to pick up a copy and read it as any other fan of the story.
The day after I published my Christmas post, I was blessed with the birth of my third child. A girl, born on December 26th 2012, was named after what my wife and I agreed to be a very elegant and strong name
